Citrus Glazed Fish

Florida orange season is here and it has us salivating for all things citrus! We used our orange creamed honey to create a sweet and savory fish glaze. The recipe is really flexible and can be combined with any type of dense or meaty fish. We used mullet, but we think salmon, tuna, grouper, or mahi would work well too. You also have a full range of cooking options--baking, smoking, grilling, or pan searing. We love how simple this recipe is, but it is sure to impress!

Orange Glazed Fish 


-1 to 1 1/4 lbs Fresh Fish Fillets (we used mullet)

-2 tsp Freshly Grated Ginger

-2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice

-2 Tbsp Stubbees Orange Creamed Honey

-2 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves

-Sprig of Freshly Chopped Rosemary

-Zest of 1 Lemon

-Salt & Freshly Ground Pepper


1. Combine grated ginger, honey, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, and lemon zest in a small bowl.

2. Drizzle prepared marinade over fish fillets and spread evenly with spoon. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and allow to stand for 5-10 minutes at room temperature. 

3. Grill fillets or bake in the oven at 400° F until internal temperature of fish measures 145° F and outside is opaque and flaky.

4. Serve with extra lemon slices and salt and pepper to taste.
